RISC designer wins WELL institute award
Ms. Phetcharin Phongphetkul, a Sustainable Designer at the Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) by MQDC, has received a 2022 IWBI Award from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
RISC is a unit set up by leading developer MQDC to raise standards across the property industry. The team conducts research, shares insights, and applies its expertise in building projects. The center’s resources include Thailand’s first eco-material library, with samples of over 500 materials.
The 2022 IWBI Award recognizes outstanding members of the WELL Faculty and WELL Accredited Professional (AP) community. IBWI oversees the global WELL Building Standard for design that supports health and well-being.
Ms. Phongphetkul helped RISC’s office achieve Southeast Asia’s first WELL “Gold” for New & Existing Interiors. She is currently engaged in the pre-certification process for DTGO CampUs, the new base for MQDC’s parent group.
She has also driven WELL’s expansion as a speaker promoting health and well-being.
